IF you happened to notice a slight unpleasant scent in the room this morning…
It was me.
Yep, while walking my dogs in the pre-dawn we came across one of those black and white creatures that have the powerful ability to share their perfume with you.
I didn’t think we got blasted until I was sitting in my truck on the way to Toastmasters. I had thought we lucked out on avoiding a nasty encounter, but alas, we were hit with a slight wafting of skunk material. I was in the room first setting up the projector and as soon as Jan walked in she said, “Oooooo, do you smell skunk?”
Whoops!
I forewarned John Fry and Lyndon Jones who were sitting on either side of me. Lyndon just laughed at me.
I would have skipped the meeting today, but, man, I was scheduled to speak and no skunk is going to keep me down…
After the meeting I went to Walmart and sprayed myself with cologne samples to get through the rest of the day cleaning windows.
All that to say, sorry for the slight stench emanating from my exposure to the black and white disaster waiting to happen.
