With six contestants, it made the contest intriguing. A table topics contest involves each contestant being given the exact same question (with out being able to listen to any other responses beforehand) that they have no clue what the question will be and they must give an answer that is at least one minute long and no longer than two minutes and thirty seconds.
This contest is a test of wits, spontaneity, and being able to think on your feet.
This years winners are 3rd place, Sue Ann Kern, 2nd place Nancy Anderson, and 1st place Jon Henry. Since Jon will be out of town for the Area Contest (the next level), Nancy will go on and represent our club. If she wins Area, she will advance to Division, and if she wins Division, she will advance to District. The contest ends at the District (multi-state area) level.
