Park City Toastmasters

YouthSpeak March 2015

The very first YouthSpeak Park City event that gives students a chance to speak outside of the classroom in front of a larger audience of their peers and adults. This was put on by the Park City School District, Summit County Library, and the Park City Toastmasters Club.

Jon Henry was the founding member of the Park City Toastmasters Club. By the time of his passing, Jon had achieved his Advanced Communicator Gold Award and the Advanced Leader Bronze Award. He had presented numerous workshops at the Toastmaster Leadership Institutes and the District Conference. He won the District Evaluation Contest in 2009 and the Division Tall Tale Contest in 2008. He also taught presentation skills in public schools and to companies and organizations like Deloitte/HP; he was a speech coach & mentor. Jon Henry was an amazing man, and the world is a much dimmer place without him.
