On August 26th, we conducted our Fall Club Humorous Contest. Fred Rubenfeld graciously volunteered to be our forerunner speaker. We have a forerunner to ‘warm up’ the judges so they are acclimated to the judging ballot and know what to look for with the contestants. Sheralyn and Rachel Romrell along with John Concannon participated in the contest.
Sheralyn spoke on making cookies and her funny frustration with weight loss and a skinny husband. Rachel spoke on self-deprecatingly about her silly generation, generation Y. And John told a terrific tale about kissing in Utah.
Sheralyn took first place, Rachel second, and John third. Sheralyn will go on to represent our club at the Area Contest in September.
